Spring has sprung at Frog Street…..

Well everything is starting to burst into life in the garden. The daffodils have pretty much done their thing now, although the narcissus are still providing plenty of blooms to pick for the house, filling rooms with their lovely scent . The wallflowers are providing plenty of fragrance out in the garden along with the Forget Me Not’s, keeping the bees very busy indeed. The wisteria on the front of the house is in full bud with the first blossoms starting to open.

Our day out in Cheddar

Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of what is around us, so on a fine spring day, with our Niece and Nephew (Olivia & Tom) in tow, for their much needed young person perspective, we went to Cheddar caves, Gorge, Jacobs ladder and lookout tower, this is definitely a place you can spend a few hours or a complete day, we opted for the family ticket and visited the smaller Coxes cave, then the bigger main cave, which I have to say is much bigger than I remember as a child, the audio tour is a great tip, this will give you a step by step narrative to the many different stages of the caves as they were discovered, even for a 5 and 7 year old it was an amazing sight to see.
